Jill + Matt: Love and London

Jenni and I (Cinelle) are thrilled to finally post about our favorite wedding of the year:
Jill + Matt in London, England.

Jenni made the dress and ties, and I made the flower embellishments on the train.  We love Jill very, very much and both wish that we could've made it to the land of tea and royalty for her big day.

Either way, swoon away... gorgeous photos by jennifersosablog.com

Jill loves to support charitable businesses and causes, such as TOMS and RestoreNYC.

Pretty dresses, pretty bride

My besties: Nancy, Jill and Buki.  These three fashionistas run and own The Wise & Wearfores, a collection of affordable, en vogue pieces. Check it out! They are actually having a trunk show on Hester Street (NYC) this weekend.

Bliss.

The groom's tie is a combination of off-white kona cotton and Liberty of London prints.

Congrats, Jill and Matt!

Catherine + Mike Vintage Farm Wedding

Catherine and I met six years ago in New York City.  I've always thought of her as a sweet Virginia girl with elegant taste and a humble heart.  We were very excited to be asked to make wedding ties for her and her groom, Mike.  We just knew that whatever our ties were going to be paired with or set against was going to be adorable and unique.

Here are some shots from joyeusephotography.com (see the full post here).

Her dress was just impeccable!

We embroidered initials and the wedding date on the back of each tie.

A sweet shot of the bride, her father, the groom and groomsmen, and our ties.
Ties were made of dupioni silk (garnet red) and floral cotton.   Each tie had a different cut to it -- some were double-striped, single-striped, color-blocked on the bottom or solid.

The bride and groom requested for various tie styles to match the adorable collection of bridesmaid dresses.

Handsome men deserve handsome ties.
From the bride:
"The ties looked so great on the guys... and make for such a personal souvenir! "

Congratulations, Catherine and Mike!  Wishing you a blissful life full of joy, peace, combined strength, service, adventure, and most of all, love!

According to Webster...

BACON
|ˈbākən|nouncured meat from the back or sides of a pig.
That's how old Mr. Webster defines it in his book of words and meanings.
This is how the OTHER Mr. Webster defines it:
"an intrinsic goodness to the neckwear line put out by the fine folks at Bacon Handmade Neckwear"

Thrillist Philadelphia Loves Us!

Thrillist, a popular city-focused men's blog and newsfeed, first came across our ties at an art fair two summers ago.  One of their editors said that he just fell in love with the bespoke quality and forward designs of our ties.  He definitely recommends us to his male blog leaders!

It's nice to know that we're rockin' both wedding and retail scenes.  We're looking forward to designing a collection based on our new home-base -- the nation's bowtie and seersucker capital -- Charleston, SC.

Another Wedding Chicks feature!

We love the Wedding Chicks... and they seem to love us, too.  Allison + Stu (Nashville, TN) had a very cute pinwheel-inspired wedding and our corn yellow linen square-tip tie made it on WC's post on the creative couple.  Lovebird Style was also featured. Lovebird does an awesome job styling indie-inspired weddings.  You should check them out!

Congrats, Allison + Stu!
Stu, you are one of our favorite grooms.  You've got as much style as your bride!
